I saw Dune in IMAX and it was… okay. Nice visuals, good story but also LOUD!!!
It was also quite dour. Not a single moment of lightness, let alone comic relief. I liked Arrival much more.
We saw Dune at the local AMC Imax screen, and it was great. But if AMC wants to lure people back to theaters, they'd do well to do some cleaning, especially the dank restrooms.
